Our Global Presence

Wal-Mart is known across the world for offering its customers the products they need at prices they can afford. Worldwide, we serve more than 49 million people in thirteen markets outside of the continental U.S., and we are growing. How do we do it? By staying true to our unique corporate culture that puts the customer first. By passing the knowledge we have gathered over decades of growth and success in other markets on to our associates. By recognizing that we have been welcomed into each country by people who want to see us succeed. We work to honor that welcome everywhere we go by giving back to each community and offering products that respect each culture. For the more than half million International associates that work with us, this means opportunity, career growth, and a brighter future—qualities that translate into every language.
