Wal-Mart lowers cost of many medications to $10 for 90-day supply

Southwest Florida clinics serving the needy are busy updating drug discount lists now that Wal-Mart is expanding its prescription relief program to help the public.

Wal-Mart officials announced Monday that it is offering generic medications for $10 for a 90-day supply, which previously cost $4 for a 30-day supply. About 350 generics are covered.

The retail giant also is cutting the price of many women's medications and offering more over-the-counter medications at $4. Click here to read on.
