Glenpool retail area gushing

July 10, 2008 The Glenpool Wal-Mart was just the beginning. Tapp Development Corp., designers and builders of the environmentally friendly store, is also constructing or shepherding a variety of stores, restaurants, hotels and even a new medical building to the area surrounding the Wal-Mart Supercenter. The new development, dubbed The Shoppes at South County, is part of Tapp Development's plan to build up the entire 145-acre site at U.S. 75 and 121st Street, which is called Southwest Crossroads, said Paul Swales, managing broker at Tapp.
