Free Energy-Efficient Bulbs

August 23, 2008 Nudging residents to ditch incandescent light bulbs in favor of energy-efficient compact fluorescents, Babylon is dropping a free CFL on the town's 60,000 homes. Each household will also receive literature on the benefits of the new bulbs and a $1 Wal-Mart coupon, said Greg Tucker, manager of Wal-Mart's Farmingdale store. Read more.
