RSS feeds

To receive updated content from Wal-Mart Stores: select an RSS Reader, then select what type of RSS feed you would like to receive, and lastly click on the RSS button next to the feed type that you would like. Our video podcasts can be downloaded into iTunes or other Podcast readers (see below). These podcasts can automatically update your portable media player, such as the Apple iPod.

What is RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is an XML standard that provides a simple way for Web sites and blogs to syndicate news and information to their readers. An RSS feed provides a list of recent content posted to a Web site, with links to each new page. By subscribing to an RSS feed, you're automatically notified whenever new content that's of interest to you is posted.

Subscribing to RSS Feeds

To "subscribe" to an RSS feed, you'll need to install RSS News reader software. Once you've subscribed, the RSS reader periodically checks the feed to see if any new content has been posted. The reader then retrieves any new news added to the feed.
